Medicinal Herbs

We have been growing medicinal herbs and food for ourselves, our CSA, for market and herbalists since the farm started. In 2016 we started growing a number of medicinal herbs on a larger scale with the aim of being a high quality, regional source of herbs grown with holistic practices.

We feel this is a natural extension to our farming, a valuable way to regenerate the land and important for our community. Our herb farm is affectionately called, Wild Nettle Herb Farm, after the first herb crop we harvested on the farm.

GROWING PRACTICES

All the seeds are certified organic and non-GMO. Some are saved directly from our farm, or other local farms and some come regional seed companies or Strictly Medicinal Seeds.

The herbs are grown with our holistic farming practices. We are not certified organic, but are planning to certify the medicinal plants produced by the farm.
